PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply control device and a fuel supply method for an internal combustion engine, which can suppress the deterioration of drivability with gas fuel supply to the internal combustion engine.

SOLUTION: An ECU 50 obtains a differential value of a tank fuel pressure in a CNG tank 41 and determines whether the temperature in the CNG tank 41 is stable based on the differential value of the tank fuel pressure. When the ECU 50 determines that the temperature in the CNG tank 41 is unstable, it prohibits the supply of a CNG to the internal combustion engine 10. When the ECU 50 determines that the temperature in the CNG tank 41 is stable, it allows the supply of the CNG to the internal combustion engine 10.
