<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately determine an operational state of a plant by the Mahalanobis-Taguchi System while responding to a secular change and a seasonal variation of the plant. <P>SOLUTION: A bundle of the latest state quantity A1, ... is extracted for each predetermined evaluation period from a state quantity file in which bundles of state quantity each of which is a collection of a state quantity for each of a plurality of evaluation items acquired from the plant are stored in time sequence. On the basis of a unit space stored in a unit space file, a Mahalanobis distance of the extracted bundle of the quantity state A1 is obtained and it is determined whether the Mahalanobis distance is within a specified threshold. When corresponding to a predetermined update period which is longer than an evaluation period, a bundle of a quantity state A3 extracted from the state quantity file is added to the unit space S1 stored in the unit space file, while a bundle of the oldest state quantity B1 is deleted from the unit space S1, so that the unit space S1 is updated to a new unit space S2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
