<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately reduce power consumption while actualizing effective heating of a cabin by utilizing waste heat from the heat source of a vehicle for the heating while heating the cabin with a heat pump. <P>SOLUTION: During heating the cabin 5, a water pump 2 and a compressor 7 are driven so that a total value for electric power to drive the compressor 7 of the vapor compression type heat pump 6 for the heating and the water pump 2 of a water circuit 3 for circulating cooling water to utilize the waste heat from the heat source 1 for the heating is a value to satisfy required heating capability and not higher than a reference value. Thus, the power consumption of the water pump 2 and the compressor 7 can be reduced down to a smaller value not higher than the reference value while effectively heating the cabin 5 to satisfy the required heating capability by the heat pump 6 when using the cooling water in the water circuit 3 to utilize the waste heat from the heat source 1 for the heating. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
