<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fuel efficiency of a main engine, by restraining surplus steam disposed of without being used in a steam turbine. <P>SOLUTION: This power generation system includes a power turbine 7 driven by exhaust gas extracted from the upstream side of a supercharger of the main engine, an exhaust gas boiler (an exhaust gas economizer) 11 for generating steam by using the exhaust gas of the main engine, the steam turbine 9 driven by the steam generated by the exhaust gas boiler 11, and a turbine generator 25 connected to the power turbine 7 and the steam turbine 9, and is characterized by determining output of the power turbine 7 to compensate for a difference between output of the steam turbine 9 and demand electric power, by determining the output of the steam turbine 9 to become steam turbine suppliable output or less, by calculating the steam turbine suppliable output from an operation state of the main engine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
