[Problem] To improve the sliding movement of a long body such as a catheter even when the internal diameter of the tip of a sheath becomes smaller toward the tip. [Solution] A sheath (20) for an introducer, which is formed of a sheath tube (21) comprising a hollow portion (21a) where a long body may be inserted, and which comprises a sheath tip (50) and a sheath main body portion (60). The internal diameter (fa) of the tip of the sheath for the introducer becomes smaller toward the tip. At an internal surface (50a) of the sheath tip, the sheath for the introducer comprises a hydrophobic coating (71) which has a frictional coefficient lower than a frictional coefficient of the sheath tube. |
