PURPOSE: An air purifier for a subway is provided to maintain the dust concentration of compartments lower than a predetermined level by replacing a polluted filter while the filter is automatically wound. CONSTITUTION: An air purifier for a subway comprises a suction and exhaust part(110), a filter part(120), an adsorption part(130), a detection part(140), and a control part(150). The suction and exhaust part comprises a housing(111) and a blower(112). The filter part removes particle pollutants by applying an electrostatic roll filter in the housing. The adsorption part is installed under the filter part. The detection part is installed in one side of the housing to measure the pollutant concentration in gas and particle pollutants in air sucked into the housing. The control part is installed in the other side of the housing to control the suction and exhaust part and the filter part according to the measured value of the detection part.
