<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document display device etc. capable of easily and accurately supporting a user to understand a displayed document when a document such as a novel is displayed. <P>SOLUTION: A document display device performs the steps of: separately extracting contents related to one or a plurality of characters who appear on a document from summary data of the whole document which is added to document data or is generated based on the document data; generating separate summary data for each character by associating the extracted contents with a page of the document in which the contents are described; identifying a designated character and a page currently displayed, when the character within the document is designated by a user; and displaying the contents related to the character which are associated with pages before the identified page, from among the separate summary data of the identified character, on display means 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
