PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery structure inhibiting degradation in battery performance during long-term storage and suitable for a large-scale power storage system, and a method for making the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery structure into a completed battery.

SOLUTION: A secondary battery comprises an electrode group comprising a positive electrode provided with positive electrode active material layers on both sides of a collector, a negative electrode provided with negative electrode active material layers on both sides of a collector, and a separator intervening between the positive electrode and the negative electrode; a nonaqueous electrolytic solution; a separation part where the electrode group and the nonaqueous electrolytic solution are separately covered with a thermal adhesive sheet and separated from each other; and a supply part supplying the nonaqueous electrolytic solution to the electrode group.
