<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accelerator device capable of varying hysteresis characteristics that generate a difference in the pedaling force of an accelerator pedal. <P>SOLUTION: A through-hole 222a is formed in a direction parallel to a hysteresis rotation axis in a second mounting part 222 of a second housing 22. A bolt 12 to be inserted into the through-hole 222a is inserted into a bolt hole 217a formed in a first mounting part 217 of a first housing 21. The inserted bolt 12 is coupled with the bolt hole 217a. Thus, the first housing 21 and the second housing 22 are coupled by fastening. Upon releasing the fastening state of the bolt 12, a substantially C-shaped spacer 28 that matches a gap between a sidewall face 217b of the first mounting part 217 and a sidewall face 222b of the second mounting part 222 is inserted into between the sidewall face 217b and the sidewall face 222b.
