<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnosis apparatus capable of generating a high quality ultrasonic image, and capable of saving power while complementing for the shortage of a dynamic range of an A-D converter. <P>SOLUTION: A measurement region is divided into a first measurement depth region R1 and a second measurement depth region R2, a first A-D convertible range corresponding to an intensity range of an ultrasonic echo from the first measurement depth region R1 and a second A-D convertible range corresponding an intensity range of an ultrasonic echo from the second measurement depth region R2 are set, the A-D conversion of a receiving signal corresponding to the first measurement depth region R1 is performed in the first A-D convertible range by the reception and transmission of a first ultrasonic beam, and the A-D conversion of a receiving signal corresponding to the second measurement depth region R2 is performed in the second A-D convertible range by the reception and transmission of a second ultrasonic beam. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
