The jet pump (1') has a transmission terminal (S) to insert a propellant fluid into jet pump casing. A suction terminal (A) pumps a suction fluid by casing. A receiver terminal (E) executes the propellant and suction fluids from casing. A mixing region is arranged between the transmission, suction and receiver terminals. The primary and secondary flow channels are respectively passed from the transmission and suction terminals through mixing region and receiver terminal. A switchable shut-off mechanism is inserted into mixing region to shut off the primary flow channel. An independent claim is included for motor for motor car.
