<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing a conductive polyphenylene ether-based resin composition excellent in conductivity, mechanical properties such as impact resistance, and dimensional stability, and small in detachment of conductive agents such as carbon black. <P>SOLUTION: The production method of PPE-based resin composition comprises melt-kneading PPE, PS and the conductive agent and extrusion-molding the kneaded mixture, wherein PPE containing a specific content of copper element is used, a PS particle having specific apparent density is used, and the PPE and the PS are fed to a twin-screw extruder having L/D of 10-80, at least two kneading zones and total L/D of the kneading zone is 3-18, and melt-kneading the mixture; thereafter the conductive agent is fed from a side feeder into the downstream side of the upstream-side kneading zone of the twin-screw extruder to obtain the PPE-based resin composition in which 0.015-0.6 mass% of ultrahigh molecular weight fraction of the PPE-based resin having ≥500,000 molecular weight is generated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
