<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for producing a wrapped food, capable of forming, in production of the wrapped food in which an inner material is wrapped with a sheet-like outer surface material, the sealing portion side of the outer surface material thinner than the opposite side thereof. <P>SOLUTION: In wrapped food production for producing the wrapped food P in which the inner material F is wrapped with the outer surface material 5, the outer surface material 5 having a central portion 5B thicker than an edge portion 5C is molded by pressing and extending the outer surface material 5 by a molding conveyor 51 for carrying the outer surface material and an extension roller 55 disposed above the molding conveyor 51, the roller including a thin central portion 55A provided along the axial direction of a rotating shaft 58 and end portions 55C thicker than the central portion 55A provided at both ends of the same, and further pressing and extending the extended outer surface material 5 again by the extension roller 55 from a direction orthogonal to the extension direction of the outer surface material by the extension roller 55. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
