The purpose of the present invention is to connect a terminal connecting section for a DC cable to a terminal section of a DC cable covered by a cable insulator. A stress cone has a volume resistivity wherein the ratio between the volume resistivity of an insulator section thereof and the volume resistivity of the cable insulator will be within a range of 0.01-0.5. The thickness of the higher voltage side front end section of the stress cone is not more than 6 mm. The stress cone is mounted onto the cable insulator such that the higher voltage side front end section thereof will be positioned at an upper metal part side. The terminal section of the DC cable including the stress cone is covered by an insulation porcelain bushing, a lower metal part, and the upper metal part, and an insulation medium is sealed inside the insulation porcelain bushing.
