<p>Disclosed are a method and apparatus for determining a modulation and coding scheme (MCS). First, the scheduling times for which a cyclic redundancy check indicator (CRCI) corresponding to a user equipment (UE) is successful and the scheduling times for which the CRCI fails are counted in the preset specified scheduling times, then according to the counted scheduling times, the MCS adjustment quantity occurring when the UE is previously scheduled is adjusted to obtain the MCS adjustment quantity occurring when the UE is currently scheduled, and then the MCS occurring when the UE is currently scheduled is determined according to the obtained MCS adjustment quantity. In the present invention, the MCS adjustment quantity is adjusted directly according to the scheduling times for which the CRCI is successful and the scheduling times for which the CRCI fails instead of being adjusted according to the block error ratio (BLER), thereby improving MCS adjustment efficiency and being capable of better adapting to a fast-fading channel.</p> |
