<p>A liquid-crystal display device provided with a liquid-crystal panel, wherein the connection structure of wiring for a substrate disposed inside a housing containing a backlight is improved to minimize the size of the border region of the liquid-crystal display device. Said liquid-crystal display device is provided with the following: a liquid-crystal module; a case that contains said liquid-crystal module; a backlight chassis (32) that contains a backlight; an LED substrate (26a) affixed to an inner surface of said backlight chassis (32); and wiring (42) connected to said LED substrate (26a). The LED substrate (26a) is provided with a connector (29) that connects to said wiring (42). A through-hole (32c) is formed in the backlight chassis (32) at a position opposite a part, on the surface where the backlight chassis (32) is disposed, that connects to the aforementioned connector (29). The aforementioned wiring (42) is connected to the connector (29) through the through-hole (32c).</p> |
