PURPOSE: A hybrid segmentation method of an X-ray CT image is provided to improve the readability of the X-ray CT image by finding a threshold value from a restored image and segmenting a metal area through a threshold calculation. CONSTITUTION: A light source emits X-rays(S100). A detector composed of thirteen pixels is increased as much as 10°by forward projection from 0°(S200). A 2D array projection image is generated with the detector as a column(S300). An RNA is filtered from the projection image(S400). The difference between the brightness value of the projection image and an RNA applied value is calculated(S500). A PreMAS image which is obtained by RNA filtering is restored into an object image(S600). An automatic segmentation is performed(S700). An MAS image is obtained(S800).
