<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present an image of a player playing a game to people other than the player. <P>SOLUTION: A game system includes an operation device, a portable display device, and a game device. The portable display device includes an imaging unit and a display unit. The game device obtains first operation data indicating operation to the operation device, second operation data indicating operation to the portable display device, and data on an image obtained by the imaging unit. In a virtual space, operation of a first operation target is controlled on the basis of the first operation data, and operation of a second operation target is controlled on the basis of the second operation data. The game device generates a first game image including a game image indicating the virtual space and corresponding to the first operation target and at least part of the obtained image. The first game image is displayed on a predetermined display device different from the portable display device.
