PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate image data in which an arbitrary focus plane is focused from a plurality of pieces of image data on a subject imaged from different imaging positions.

SOLUTION: An image input part 110 receives input of a plurality of pieces of image data on a subject imaged from different imaging positions and information representing the imaging positions. A focus coordinate acquiring part 111 acquires at least one focus coordinates representing a position to be focused in an image represented by one of the plurality of pieces of image data. A distance estimation part 112 estimates an imaging distance from the subject on the basis of the plurality of pieces of image data and the information representing the imaging positions. A virtual focus plane generation part 114 generates information representing a focus plane from the focus coordinates and the imaging distance. An image composition part 115 combines a plurality of pieces of image data together based on the information representing an imaging position and the information representing a focus plane, to generate image data in which the focus plane is focused.
