WIDE-MOUTHED TUBULAR CONTAINER AND METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MOLDING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely achieve bending molding to end curled portions of an in-mold material by making the pressure of a molding resin act on the curled portions of the in-mold material in a predetermined direction even if differences of distances of individual ends of the in-mold material from the gate are large.

SOLUTION: A mouth cylinder 3 and a bottom 8 are disposed by insert molding in the body 2 comprising a synthetic resin tubular body; and a regulation weir piece 21 is arranged in a portion opposite to an end ridge 2c of a curled portion in a molding space of the bottom 8 so as to form a regulation region K with respect to the flow of the molding resin S. Because the pressure of the molding resin S is made to act from the outside on the upper end of the body 2 by the regulating action of the regulation region K, the bending molding of a curled portion 2b can be achieved reliably.
