<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control transmitter that is used to perform remote control of various kinds of electronic equipment and can be surely operated with no incorrect operation. <P>SOLUTION: Transmitting means 18 comprises plural light emitting elements 18A and is provided with electromagnetic power generating means 12. The plural light emitting elements 18A are made to emit light by the electromagnetic power generating means 12, whereby a battery or the like can be eliminated, and the plural light emitting elements 18A are made to emit light with a high voltage generated by the electromagnetic power generating means 12, whereby an infrared remote control signal can be transmitted to a long-distance place.
