LARGE AREA LIGHT SOURCE

PURPOSE: A large area light source is provided to prevent damage to an electrical connection portion of an LED light source by absorbing expansion and contraction stress between substrate ends of an LED bar. CONSTITUTION: LED bars(2) are serially arranged in the longitudinal direction. A narrow space(23) is formed between substrate ends of the LED bar. A connection terminal(25a) is installed on the substrate end of the LED bar. A connection pin(24) is installed on the connection terminal in the longitudinal direction. The connection pin absorbs contraction stress of the LED bar.
