FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a rare-earth complex of general formula [Ln(L)L], where Ln is an ion of a trivalent rare-earth element, e.g., Nd, Pr, Sm, Eu, Tb, Dy, Ho, Tm, Er, Yb; Lis a diketonate ligand, which is a 1,3-dipyrazolyl propanediol-1,3 derivative of general formula, where R, Rdenote an alkyl, fluoroalkyl, aryl, cycloalkyl or heterocyclic substitute, R, Rdenote a hydrogen atom, an alkyl, fluoroalkyl, aryl, cycloalkyl or heterocyclic substitute, a halogen atom, a CFor NOgroup. The diketone fragment can be conjugated symmetrically or asymmetrically at positions 3, 4 or 5 of each pyrazole ring, Lis an auxiliary bidentate N, P or O-containing ligand, e.g., 1,10-phenanthroline (Phen), 2,2-bipyridyl (Bipy), triphenylphosphine oxide (TPPO), tri-n-octylphosphine oxide (TOPO), diethylene glycol dimethyl ether (Diglim).
