<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device capable of reducing generation of double images in three-dimensional display, and to provide a display device with the same. <P>SOLUTION: In optical modulation elements adhered to a light guide plate, a scattering area where light propagated through the light guide plate is scattered and a transmission area where light propagated through the light guide plate is transmitted are generated by electric field control. The scattering area is to generate linear illumination light by scattering. A reflecting plate, fitted directly under the light modulation elements, is to reflect light emitted toward a reflecting plate side out of the scattered light generated in the scattering area to generate reflected light focused on a point directly under the scattering area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
