<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recording method where a deep ink and a light ink having small difference in ozone resistance are used, and images having fewer differences in vision depending on the type of recording medium are obtained. <P>SOLUTION: The image recording method has a step of recording an image by applying each of the deep ink and the light ink having the same color phase as the deep ink to the recording medium. The deep ink and the light ink have common a soluble dye.
