<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game program which advances play not only competitively but also cooperatively. <P>SOLUTION: According to the game program, multiple player characters can move within a virtual space and compete for the total scores given to each player character at the end of the game. A game-advancing unit 310 displays the multiple player characters and total scores on a screen. An object-moving unit 320 moves the player characters in the virtual space on the basis of operation signals. An object number-determining unit 330 determines the number of player characters associated with a specified area or specified object in the virtual space. A scoring unit 340 grants points to player characters associated with a specified area or a specified object according to the determined number of player characters.
