<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin excellent in mechanical properties such as tensile strength and flexural rigidity, thermal dimensional stability, surface appearance, durability, and impact resistance of the thermoplastic resin molded article by improving adhesion and dispersibility of the fiber for resin reinforcement to/in the thermoplastic resin in a versatile and inexpensive fashion. <P>SOLUTION: The organic fiber for resin reinforcement has a coating film including (A) a thermoplastic resin and (B) a nucleating agent imparted to a surface of the organic fiber in an amount of 1-20 wt.% with respect to the organic fiber, wherein (A)/(B), the weight ratio of (A) to (B), is in the range of 99/1-50/50, and the fiber reinforced thermoplastic resin includes (a) the organic fiber for resin reinforcement and (b) the thermoplastic resin as main components wherein the mixing weight ratio of (a) to (b) is 5/95-70/30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
