<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material testing machine for reducing an error in the amount of movement of a load member. <P>SOLUTION: A signal output by a rotary encoder 51 is input to a pulse rate conversion circuit 60, and then output to a counter 62 and counted. Afterward, the counted value of the counter 62 is converted into the amount of movement (movement distance) of a table 21, and displayed at a display part 36. In a material testing machine according to the present invention, a signal output by the rotary encoder 51 is converted by the pulse rate conversion circuit 60 so that it is possible to reduce the dispersion of the number of output pulses per rotation of the rotary encoder 51 due to an error to be generated in each member configuring a stroke detector 34 such as the diameter error of a pulley 53 or the diameter error due to a difference in thickness of wire 52. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
