<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor which enables the saving of man-hours for mounting a heat source member and a reduction in cost since a dedicated heat source member for heating lubricating oil does not need to be installed separately. <P>SOLUTION: A control device 80 drives a motor 3 while the phase of a current for driving the motor 3 is displaced from the optimum point during defrosting so as to intentionally lower the efficiency of the motor during defrosting.
