<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking type working machine stably supporting a cover on a machine body by a reduced number of components. <P>SOLUTION: An open/close cover 42 is supported on a cover body 41 via a hinge mechanism 40 to open/close an opening of the cover body 41. A sidewall 41B of the attitude hanging down from an upper wall 41A of the cover body 41 is provided, an engagement claw 41K projecting to the outside of the machine body is formed on the sidewall 41B and an engaged part 43E engaged with the engagement claw 41K is formed on the machine body side. The open/close cover 42 is opened to make a base end part 42T of the open/close cover 42 abut on an upper wall 41A of the cover body 41 to impart force of actuating the sidewall 41B outward, thereby actuating the engagement claw 41K in a direction in which it is brought into engagement with the engaged part 43E. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
