<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas shut-off device with improved safety and convenience by improving safety by shutting off a gas when not using the gas and surely preventing gas leakage, and quickly detecting use start of the gas from fluid and supplying the gas. <P>SOLUTION: The gas shut-off device includes: opening/closing means 8 which is arranged on an upstream side of a measurement flow path 1 and opens and closes a flow path where fluid to be measured flows; and use start detection means 9 which detects the use start of a gas appliance in the state of closing the flow path in the opening/closing means 8. When a flow rate computed in flow rate computing means 7 is a prescribed flow rate or lower, the flow path is closed in the opening/closing means 8. Also, when the use start of the gas appliance is detected from the fluid in the use start detection means 9, the flow path is opened in the opening/closing means 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
