<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a four-node link type continuously variable transmission having an eccentric mechanism which can be set to a state where eccentricity is 0. <P>SOLUTION: In this continuously variable transmission 1, the eccentricity R1 of the eccentric mechanism 4 is maintained by rotating an input shaft 2 to which driving force is transmitted and a pinion shaft 7 at the same speed, and the eccentricity R1 is changed by rotating the input shaft 2 and the pinion shaft 7 at different speeds, so as to control the gear ratio i.
