PURPOSE: A hybrid brake for a vehicle is provided to implement a combined braking system comprising a hydraulic brake activated by stepping on a pedal and an electronic brake activated by driver's intention. CONSTITUTION: A hybrid brake for a vehicle comprises an electronic brake(14) and a hydraulic brake(19). The electronic brake implements braking of the vehicle with the power of a motor(10) and the hydraulic pressure of a sub cylinder(13) using screws(11) and nuts(12). The hydraulic brake comprises a brake pedal(15) operated by driver's intention, a master cylinder(17) forming pressure according to a stepping force on the brake pedal, and a main solenoid valve(18) connected to the sub cylinder of the electronic brake through a hydraulic line(16a) and selectively switched on and off to control hydraulic pressure acing between the master cylinder and the sub cylinder. |
