<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing bending and twisting of a frame in an apparatus body regardless of a change in position of the center of gravity in the apparatus due to the state of an installation surface of the apparatus and the presence or absence of an option device. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: first support legs 111 and 112 provided at least at two portions along a first ridge line 101 in a lower part of a frame 100 on a first side surface side; a second support leg 120 provided along a second ridge line 102 in a lower part of the frame 100 on a second side surface side opposed to the first side surface; and a third support leg 131 provided along the second ridge line 102. The third support leg 131 is arranged at a position on a side where the position of the center of gravity is changed depending on a use state of the image forming apparatus rather than the second support leg 120 along the second ridge line 102 and is movable along a substantially vertical direction from a first position where the third support leg 131 is stored not to be in contact with an installation surface L up to a second position where the third support leg 131 is in contact with the installation surface L. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
