<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder device which secures running stability of a vehicle even when a proportional solenoid valve is temporarily seized and which has improved durability. <P>SOLUTION: In a fluid pressure circuit which generates a damping force of the elongation side, a first solenoid valve 12 which generates a damping force of the soft side and a first proportional solenoid valve 13 which generates a variable damping force between the medium side and the hard side are connected to each other in parallel to another side flow path 7. As a result, when the first proportional solenoid valve 13 is seized, the first proportional solenoid valve 13 generates at least a damping force of the medium side upon an elongation stroke and, therefore the running stability of the vehicle can be secured. Further, since the first proportional solenoid valve 13 which generates the damping force of the elongation side and a second proportional solenoid valve 24 which generates a damping force of the contraction side are individually provided, the frequency of pressure loading operated on the respective proportional solenoid valves 13, 24 is reduced and the durability can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
