<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the risk that output voltage characteristics of an IC 2 vary when forming a resin mold part 4 by injection molding and positioning a magnetoelectric transducer in a magnetic type detection device 1. <P>SOLUTION: A detection device 1 includes a storage container 3 which has a storage space 9 for storing the IC 2 and has the resin mold part 4 formed on an outer side surface 17 by injection molding. Also, an abutting area where a part of a surface of an IC package 5 is abutted is present on an inner wall surface of the storage space 9, and the resin mold part 4 is formed on the outer side surface 17 of the inner wall surface other than the abutting area. Then, the magnetoelectric transducer is positioned by abutting of the IC package 5 to the abutting area and formation of the resin mold part 4 on the outer side surface 17 of the storage container 3. Thus, the resin mold part 4 is formed by executing injection molding such that an injection pressure of a resin does not act on the IC package 5 and the magnetoelectric transducer is positioned.
