<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of facilitating addition, deletion and change of an alteration rule. <P>SOLUTION: The device comprises: an output destination type determination part 302 for using classification information to determine a type of output destination determined by an output destination determination part; alteration processing parts 306a to 306c for individually applying different changes to a content of image data; a Plugin Factory 304 for, with reference to the content of alteration processing set for each type to be classified, identifying the alteration processing from the determined type and generating the alteration processing parts 306a to 306c that execute the identified alteration processing; and a print instruction part for requesting the alteration processing parts 306a to 306c for the alteration processing, generating output data from the image data after the alteration processing, and transmitting the output data to the determined output destination.
