BATTERY EXCHANGING METHOD FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery exchange method, in which the battery is exchanged from above so as to prevent inconvenience in vehicle travel.

SOLUTION: The battery exchange method for an electric vehicle includes (a) a step of opening a protection cover of a battery mounting module; (b) a step of releasing a locking unit of a pre-mounted battery; (c) a step of determining and storing a mounting location of the battery using an image sensor; (d) a step of taking out the pre-mounted battery from a battery seating base of the battery mounting module; (e) a step of moving a prepared buffer battery to the location of the battery mounting module, and mounting the buffer battery on the battery seating base; (f) a step of transmitting a battery mounting completion signal to the electric vehicle; and (g) a step of locking the mounted buffer battery, after confirming the connection of a connecting part of the battery.
