<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently cleaning a melt polymerization apparatus in a short time in a method for producing a liquid crystal polymer by melt polymerization. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for cleaning a polymerization apparatus, which produces a liquid crystal polymer by melt polymerization with a cleaning liquid, the method for cleaning the melt polymerization apparatus of the liquid crystal polymer includes using the cleaning liquid that contains a glycol, a potassium salt and a sodium salt in amounts of 140-5,000 ppm as the total weight of potassium and sodium based on the weight of the glycol and in the ratio of sodium to potassium contained of 0.01-20 as a weight ratio of sodium/potassium and performing cleaning at 180-350°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
