Provided are a camera body, a lens tube, and an exchangeable-lens camera that are capable of protecting a body-side contact section and a lens-side contact section when separating the lens tube and the camera body from one another, while also achieving a reduction in the size of the camera in the optical axial direction thereof. A camera body (20) is provided with: body-side bayonet teeth (25, 26, 27) having lens-side bayonet teeth (55, 56, 57) positioned directly to the rear thereof when a lens tube (50) is mounted; opposing surfaces formed on the rear surface of the body-side bayonet teeth, and positioned directly in front of the lens-side bayonet teeth when the lens tube is mounted to the camera body; a body-side mounting surface (24) that is positioned in front of the opposing surfaces, and contacts the lens-side mounting surface; and body-side contact sections (40, 41) having the front end sections thereof contact the rear end sections of a lens-side contact section, and positioned in front of the opposing surfaces and behind the body-side mounting surface when the opposing surfaces oppose the lens-side bayonet teeth.
