The light emitting body (2) is inserted in a body cavity, particularly in a nasal cavity, where a light is emitted in the direction of a portion of an inner wall of a body opening. The three-dimensional geometry of the light emitting body is anatomically adapted to the three-dimensional geometry of the body cavity. The light emitting body is deformable in a resilient manner to be adaptable to the three-dimensional geometry of the body cavity. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing a light emitting body of a lighting device; and (2) a lighting device, particularly for illumination of a portion of an inner wall of a body opening using a photo disinfectant.
