<p>Hot deep drawing of sheet material, comprises (i) regionally applying a lubricant solution or dispersion on the sheet, (ii) removing solvent or dispersant and leaving the lubricant in the regions of the sheet, (iii) locally heating the regions (2) coated with the lubricant, and (iv) deep-drawing the sheet, and (v) removing the lubricant from the deformed sheet. An independent claim is also included for a lubricant composition for use in deep drawing, comprising a solid lubricant and a liquid dispersant, which preferably includes xylene.</p> |
