PURPOSE: A method of producing thermostable pigments is provided to form a silica layer on hard-to-coat organic pigments by the formation of silica layer under specific processing condition. CONSTITUTION: A method of producing thermostable pigments compromises the steps of: scattering organic pigments in the water, adding metal compound, then forming a metal layer by churning; after adding alkali metal salt to the outcome above, performing the pulverization; injecting the outcome above, heating the outcome at 80-100°C; injecting sodium silicate, coupling agent, and pH modifier, and performing the churning; and neutralizing, filtering, and washing the outcome above. |
