<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mutually link multiple alarm systems with alarm units by using an appliance control system for controlling household electrical appliances via a network so as to reinforce the alarm system function, and improve reliability and feeling of safety. <P>SOLUTION: Alarm systems in houses 24-1, 24-2 cooperate with each other to give alarm by transmitting/receiving signals following a first communication protocol between home alarms 10-11 to 10-22. A network system transmits signals of consumed power or the like of household electrical appliances by power receptacle units 100-11 to 100-22 in houses to a server 500 on Internet 400 via network adaptors 200-1, 200-2 for processing. Each relay 300 performs a protocol conversion between a first radio communication protocol and a second radio communication protocol for relaying. When a fire is detected by an alarm 10-11, a fire linkage cooperation signal is transmitted to an alarm system in another house 24-2 so as to make this alarm system give a fire alarm in this house. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
