摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow hue shift of an intermediate color displayed by a combination of a red color and a green color that especially have high luminosity factors to be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: An image display device comprises: individual red, green, and blue laser light source devices for individually outputting individual red color, green color, and blue color laser light; a spatial light modulation element for modulating laser light sequentially output from individual laser light source devices in a time-sharing manner on the basis of a video signal; and a controller that controls outputs of individual color laser light to the spatial light modulation element while controlling lighting of laser light source devices for each of a plurality of lighting intervals that constitutes a one frame. A green laser light source device outputs green laser light that has a y value greater than that of standard green on a CIExy chromaticity diagram. The controller is configured so as to light the laser light source devices in a lighting order including a GR lighting pattern that causes the lighting in an order of green and red across two frames adjacent to each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
