<p>A tank-shaped vacuum circuit breaker in which: movable-side and fixed-size connection terminals (17, 19) for a vacuum valve (3) disposed inside a main tank (2) are connected via flexible conductors (18, 20) to the bottom ends of central conductors (16a, 16b) in a pair of bushings (14a, 14b) provided vertically on the main tank (2); and the vacuum circuit breaker is provided with shields that enclose the connection areas. The shields comprise a combination of the following: main-body-side shields (21, 23) that are provided at both axial ends of the vacuum valve (3) and cover the points where the abovementioned flexible conductors (18, 20) and the connection terminals (17, 19) connect to each other; and bushing-side shields (22, 24) that are provided at the bottom ends of the abovementioned central conductors (16a, 16b) and cover the points where the central conductors (16a, 16b) and the flexible conductors (18, 20) connect to each other.</p> |
