PURPOSE: An auxiliary wheel assembly for a bicycle is provided to improve the convenience and utility as an auxiliary wheel is automatically contacted on the ground in uphill roads and to use as a general bicycle as the auxiliary wheel is automatically folded from the ground when driving over a predetermined speed. CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary wheel assembly for a bicycle comprises a cylinder(10), a slide shaft(20), and a transfer shaft(30). The cylinder comprises a bracket(11) and a sliding packing(13). The bracket fixes the cylinder on a frame. The slide packing vertically moves in the cylinder. The top of the slide shaft moves with the slide packing in the cylinder. An auxiliary wheel(21) is rotatably installed at the bottom of the slide shaft. The top of the transfer shaft is connected to a driving motor in the cylinder. The bottom of the transfer shaft is connected to the slide packing. |
