PURPOSE: A pivot for a hoist is provided to prevent the twist of a chain and to prevent the chain and a pivot wire from being wound or tangled each other. CONSTITUTION: A pivot for a hoist comprises a chain drum(10) and a pivot(20). A chain(16) for lifting a heavy object is wound on the chain drum. A limit device(12) is installed in one side of the chain drum. The limit device is operated when a lifting part(28) is overly wound. The pivot is installed in the limit device by a pivot wire(18). A fixing ring(24) is attached in both sides of the pivot and a chain is positioned in the fixing ring. |
