PURPOSE: An automatic transmission alarm device and a control method thereof are provided to simplify a layout of an accelerator pedal by providing pedal effort which is set in advance through an accelerator pedal unit. CONSTITUTION: A TCU(transmission control unit)(40) controls an automatic transmission of a vehicle. A driving unit(20) drives an accelerator pedal unit in order to perform the operation which is determined in advance. A position detecting sensor senses the position of a connecting device driven by a driving actuator. A control unit(30) operates with the TCU.
