PURPOSE: A disc drying machine with improved steam efficiency is provided to effectively dry various sludge as steam firstly heat-exchanged at a disc is discharged after the second heat exchange in a jacket of a drying drum. CONSTITUTION: A disc drying machine(1) with improved steam efficiency comprises a steam generator(10), a driving shaft(7), a supply rotary joint(11), a discharge rotary joint(13), a drying drum(2), a water collecting tank(16), and a water level sensor(17). The supply rotary joint is connected to a steam supply pipe(12) so that high temperature and pressure steam is firstly supplied to the driving shaft. The discharge rotary joint and a jacket(5) of the drying drum are connected to a steam re-supply pipe(14). The condensate discharged from the jacket returns to a discharge pipe(15), and reheated. The water level sensor is installed in the water collecting tank, and electrically connected to a pump(18) installed in the discharge pipe. The condensate is pumped from the water collecting tank when the water level sensor is operated.
